  • Guidance on reasonable adjustments, both physical and non-physical

All services are provided by the relevant expert assessor, who has the qualifications, training and experience that matches the individual need, from specialist Neurodiversity to psychodynamic training. This ensures they get the correct advice for long term improvement.

The following are examples of the type of services offered. We can also create bespoke solutions for you, such as Co-Coaching for teams, or Coaching Clinics. For more details, contact us.

Workplace Needs Assessment

This assessment is suitable for neurodivergent and physical conditions – both clinically and self-diagnosed.

The structure of the assessment may change depending on the need of the individual. Prior to the assessment, a WNA questionnaire may be sent to both the employee and employer to gather background information regarding the challenges to allow the assessor to prepare.

A 20-minute meeting with the line manager will be arranged following which a 90 minute meeting with the employee will be conducted to fully explore strengths and challenges, strategies and software or other reasonable adjustments. The aim is to create a Neuro-inclusive working relationship to help remove obstacles to thriving at work.

The employee does not need a full diagnosis of a neurodivergent or physical condition to receive this service.

A full report will be provided within 10 working days, which will include recommendations for reasonable adjustments which usually fall under the following categories:

  • assistive software
  • software training
  • 1:1 support with coping strategies
  • further training for colleagues

as well as an outline of any further reasonable adjustments recommended within the office or home-working environment. In this way both physical, psychological and technical strategies can be addressed.

Neurodiversity Coaching

Delivered across a tailored programme of sessions, remotely or in-person. 1:1 individual coaching sessions are suitable for ADHD, Dyslexia & Autism as well as combined neurodivergent needs.

These can be provided for the individual and include a dual consultation with the manager with further Manager coaching, as deemed appropriate.

The aim of the sessions are to provide the individual with practical tips and advice on what approaches and techniques can help them flourish in their work life and to manage the mental health challenges associated with these.

Once the number of sessions are determined, they will be offered weekly or bi-weekly. The length varies depending on the individual’s capacity, but are typically 1 hour.

Assistive Software Training

We can provide assistive technology training for software recommended in Workplace Needs Assessments. We usually recommend a minimum of 2 hours per software, with some software (such as Dragon and Mind Manager) requiring two sessions.

Disability Impact Training (DIT)

DIT is focused and often one off, person centred and disability specific learning session where a specific individual’s disability is explored, to help them and the organisation they work for, reach mutual and reciprocal understanding of their condition.

For the individual, this session can be an impactful and reassuring approach to help explore a recent diagnosis and how it will impact them at work and in life. Learning new strategies and creating a resource portfolio can support them to work independently and seek relevant and appropriate support.

Neurodiversity Awareness Workshops and Webinars

A variety of Neurodiversity and Disability Awareness Workshops and Webinars, to enhance awareness, support & understanding such as:

  • Introduction to Neurodiversity
  • Neurodiversity awareness training for HR teams
  • Neurodiversity awareness training for line managers/ leadership teams
  • Bespoke neurodiversity workshops

For teams, usually less than 15 people, awareness training serves as a bespoke and collaborative exploration of the individual member’s disabilities, in a safe and supportive environment. Answering and asking questions of each other to reach agreements and address cognitive biases in a targeted and productive session, followed up with a portfolio of information that can be referred to as needed.

Neurodiversity Clinics

We can support your staff through a series of drop in clinics as an addition or as a one-off to any of the other services.

In a clinic, our expert will be available for staff members to visit to discuss their challenges, or ask general questions about Neurodiversity.

Clinics are well-suited for smaller organisations whereby Human Resources might need additional support in managing their Neurodivergent employees. For larger organisations, this can be a cost-effective way to address employee needs.

All sessions are confidential. If any follow up requirements arise in the sessions, we will signpost the individual to the resources available within their organisation. To understand these resources, we would have a fact-finding meeting before the clinic takes place.

Consultation Activities

A ‘Workplace Needs Assessment’ for the organisation.

Coaching and training are a great way to tackle human factors affecting organisational outcomes and performance, however often there are systemic organisational factors which can only be identified through a larger analysis of all the components within an organisation which may be creating barriers, blocks and under performance.

Our consultations focus on identifying inclusion factors at a strategic and operational level, through business analysis techniques and qualitative analysis.

Spread over an agreed time frame and involving a hybrid consultant presence, we will carefully observe, analyse and sympathetically present dynamic, creative and impactful solutions for senior leaders to consider including:

  • Leadership styles
  • Organisational Culture
  • Inclusive IT systems
  • EDI and H&S compliant policies and processes

A full consultation report will be provided with this service.
